How to attempt the test series
From buying to getting your checked copy back: everything you need to do, step by step.
Step by step
8 simple steps
You only need a pen, paper and your phone.
- 1
Buy your test series
Pick a plan and tick your subjects on the Plans page, then pay by UPI, card or net banking. Your login details are emailed to you right after payment.
- 2
Log in to your dashboard
Log in with your email and password. Your dashboard shows every paper in your plan with its date.
- 3
Download the paper on its date
Go to Dashboard > My Papers. Each paper opens at 12:00 AM on its scheduled date. Download the question paper as a PDF. Missed the date? You can still write any paper that has opened.
- 4
Write it by hand, like the real exam
Sit at a table, set a timer for the time printed on the paper and write your answers on plain or ruled sheets. No books, notes or phone help: the closer to exam conditions, the more useful your marks are.
- Write the question number clearly at the start of each answer
- Start every new question on a new page
- Show working notes and formats: they earn step marks
- 5
Scan all pages into one PDF
Use a free scanner app on your phone to turn your sheets into a single PDF.
- Apps: Adobe Scan, Google Drive scan, CamScanner, or the scanner in your phone's Notes or Files app
- Keep the pages in order and number them
- Scan in good, even light with no shadows, and make sure every line is readable
- Keep the file under 25 MB (choose a lower quality in the app if it is bigger)
- 6
Upload it from your dashboard
Go to Dashboard > Upload, choose the paper, select your PDF and tap Upload. Upload soon after you write it, so your feedback arrives while the paper is fresh in your mind.
- 7
Get your checked copy
A qualified CA checks your answer sheet within 24 hours (48 hours for Detailed). Your marks, remarks and the checked copy appear in Dashboard > Results, along with the suggested answers.
- 8
Ask a doubt if something is unclear
Didn't understand a remark or a deduction? Ask a doubt from your dashboard and our team will reply there.
FAQs
Uploading and checking: FAQs
What file can I upload, and how big can it be?
Upload one PDF with all your pages, up to 25 MB. A JPG or PNG photo also works for a one-page answer. If your PDF is bigger than 25 MB, scan again at a lower quality.
Is there a page limit?
There is no fixed page limit. Write as much as the question needs, as you would in the exam. Just keep the whole answer sheet in one PDF under 25 MB.
Can I upload late, after the scheduled date?
Yes. The schedule is a guide to keep you on track. Once a paper opens, you can write and upload it any time while your test series is valid (till your exam attempt).
I uploaded the wrong file. Can I upload again?
Yes. You can replace your answer sheet from Dashboard > Upload until a CA starts checking it. Once checking has started, the file can no longer be changed.
When do I get the suggested answers?
Suggested answers open as soon as you upload your answer sheet, or 3 days after the paper's date if you have not uploaded yet.
How will I know my copy has been checked?
Your result appears in Dashboard > Results with your marks, the examiner's remarks and the checked copy to download.
